DIRECTOR. EDITOR. CINEMATOGRAPHER.

About Me

Hello! My name is Lauren Havel and I am a nineteen-year-old filmmaker striving to create beauty, inspire others, and spread hope!

But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29

The Ground Beneath Our Feet

'The Ground Beneath Our Feet', Lauren's third feature film, is currently in post-production!

An old diary transports Emma Bryant to the past, where she discovers what’s missing in the present. Is there still hope for the future?

SCREENED IN

This movie was my first attempt at a feature film! It was an incredible eye-opening experience to the world of filmmaking and challenged me in many ways. But at the same time it grew my passion for filmmaking and my desire to do it more. I thank God for all the things it taught me!
